The Shift List is a curated list from the thousands of crypto-assets we follow closely and provide an asset rating.
Assets are rated from Bearish to Very Bullish, and within each asset, you will find more detailed information, including charts, our relevant articles and Collective Shift’s in-depth analysis.
How Ratings Are Defined
| Bearish | Expected to underperform compared to altcoins, and the potential for loss is higher than average. |
| Neutral | Expected to perform on par with general market movements or other altcoins. It could maintain its current market position without notable gains or losses. |
| Slightly Bullish | Expected to achieve some gains and outperform other altcoins, indicating a slightly positive outlook, but with considerable uncertainty. Holders should proceed with caution due to possible risks. |
| Moderately Bullish | Expectation is more favourable; likely to outperform many others and achieve noticeable gains. There is a good confidence level in its potential to outperform, although it’s not the highest confidence rating. |
| Very Bullish | Expected to significantly outperform most other altcoins, with a high potential for substantial gains. The strongest positive outlook, confidence in its upward trajectory is very high, suggesting it could be a top performer. |
How Ratings Are Assigned
Ratings refer to our analysis of an altcoin against other altcoins over a 12–24 month period, taking into consideration their risk and reward.
The ratings are supported by an internal framework scoring a cryptocurrency on over 15 fundamental metrics across 9 sub-categories such as narrative, adoption, and future catalysts).
What The Risk Ratings
All cryptocurrencies carry high risk. Risk ratings are relative to bitcoin.

| High Risk | Top 25 |
| Very High Risk | 25-250 |
| Extreme Risk | Outside the top 250 |
Important news, ratings changes or asset additions/removals are conveyed to members via our Monthly Shift List Report or through timely member alerts. These assets are also available for use in Your Dashboard.
